About
PaverGhana is a free community map where drivers and commuters warn each other about floods and road hazards across Ghana.
Built by Christopher Mark Ankrah
Report only when it’s safe, or ask a passenger. Never use your phone while driving.
Privacy We store the reports you post (hazard type, the spot you pick, your note and the time) and a random ID on your phone that links your reports and points. We don’t ask for your name, phone number or email. Your live location is used on your phone to show the blue dot. It isn’t sent to us unless you post a report, which saves the spot you chose. Reports are public. They turn grey 12 hours after they were last seen and leave the map after 24 hours. Our hosting and map providers (Netlify, Supabase, OpenStreetMap) may see technical data such as your IP address. If you turn on alerts, we store your phone’s notification address so we can send them. You can turn alerts off anytime in the menu.
To remove reports linked to your phone, contact us.
Terms and community rules PaverGhana is a community guide, not a guarantee. Conditions change fast, so use your own judgment on the road. Post only real, current hazards. Fake or abusive reports will be removed and can cost you points. Points are for fun and recognition for now. They have no cash value, and rewards are not available yet. We may remove reports or change the service at any time.
